When I try to overwrite existing files in my directory, it tells me I don't have permission...
...And how to fix it.
- First, make sure you haven't set your web directory to be read-only.
- If you do, change the directory settings for your username and password login to be Read, Write, Execute, and Modify permissions.
- Next, if you are using a non-FTP-only program such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage, check your remote login settings.
