Changing Your Dial-up Number (Win95/98)
For either changing your dial-up number or adding an alternate connection in Windows 95/98.
- Double-click on My Computer.
- Double-click on Dial-Up Networking.
- Right click with your right mouse button on an icon called lynchburg.net (or whatever you named it) and choose Properties.
- In the new window, change the phone number on the general tab to the correct phone number you wish to dial. The address for my number - www.lynchburg.net/subscribe/help/code.cfm
- Click on OK.
- Connect to the Internet as usual making sure the correct number shows up.
