Constant Problems
After 4 service calls, Sprint finally corrected the problem on my phone line. Coincidentally, every time the servicemen came, the line was fine. A customer service person finally ran a computer check and discovered a problem in the "ground wire". I want to thank you for calling me on a Saturday afternoon to offer technical support, even though it was not a Lynchburg.net problem. That is definitely good "customer service". I was quite impressed! Thanks again...

Thanks, Julie, for your kind message. As you can tell by the time it took me to get your note and reply to it, I completely hate the service I'm using now and I can't wait to sign back on with you. It might be a while though. I guess the next step is to apply for disability but that could take a year or more. What I really need is a job I can do at home! Still Enthused
After three months I am still most enthused with The Net as it has expanded my communication and information needs so much. The e-mail service has revolutionized the way my far flung family communicates. It has brought us much closer. We have started to shop on The Net, an action I was much against as little as two months ago. In addition I've cancelled three magazine subscriptions because the meat of their content is now available on The Net. Keep up the good work at Lynchburg.net. I have to get more proficient with my computer system to take advantage of its full capabilities. The quickest solution, one that will quickly bring me up to speed is to take some of the courses you offer. Looking forward to courses on the Internet and on Microsoft Works. Under Favorites - Imported Bookmarks - Recreation & Sport I would recommend adding runningnetwork.com a favorite of mine and other runners in this area. Thanks again for the great service.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate your work. I've had a few problems the past several day signing on, sometimes my fault, sometimes yours. Anyhow, I hooked up this evening and saw the pages loading faster than they've ever loaded before and Net medic says I blazing along at 53.333! Yowza! Way to go!

V.90 Standard Performance
I've recently upgraded my modem to V.90, and have connected successfully to your X2, V.90 lines. So far, I have connected at a faster speed than ever before. V.90 shows promise. Although this is very preliminary, I am still optimistic. I'll send you another email later, after I have collected more trials and data. Thanks.

Piece of Cake to Install!!
Lynchburg.net folks,
Got my Mac on line with you folks in about 5 minutes...came back this afternoon and got my email transferred and it works great also. All I had to do was change over the DNS numbers in FreePPP and the dial-up number and I was on. (using Netscape for Mac v4.05) email was done easily by changing email address in Netscape Messenger. And besides, the new address is easier for me to remember! I look forward to years of happy service. ( This is my third ISP...AOL for 3 years, Earthlink for 3 years)

Everyone Refers Lynchburg.net
You should be getting sevral new clients for lynchburg.net as I have referred people here. I have tried most all ISP's in the area and lynchburg.net is by far the best. You have already connected Jim Mitchell in Bedford area, soon you should also have Wayne Giles, Marshall Dan Murray, and Jason Spear. They have all used other ISP's and were not satisfied, so I recommended them to you.
