Configuring the Modem
  1. Turn on your Palm Pilot.

  2. Tap the Applications icon.

  3. Tap the HotSync icon.

  4. Tap the Modem Setup button.

  5. Tap the Modem down arrow to select your modem from the list.

  6. Tap the Speed down arrow to select your modem speed.

  7. Tap the Speaker down arrow to select Low.

  8. Tap the Flow Ctl down arrow to select Automatic.
  9. If your modem requires a specific initialization string, type it in the String text box. If your modem does not use the default.
  10. Tap the Touch Tone.

  11. Tap the Done button to close the window.
