August 25th - Visit the 2002 "Race Results" for the Bozeman Biathlon results and a race report.

May 1st - The "Races" page has been updated with a link to info on the C'ville Triathlon Series, a two race sprint series held right up 29 at Walnut Creek State Park! These races are USAT sanctioned!

Front page and "Races" page have also been updated with area ride and TT schedules. These are the best schedules put out in this area in the past several years.

March 10th - Thanks to all who came out to the meeting on the 6th!! Some good business was taken care of. Some items of discussion:

1) new president elected: Catherine Phillips
2) group workouts (see the "workouts" link on the main page)
3) LATC to organize with local bike clubs: In an effort to organize folks interested in "wheel sports" in the Lynchburg area, a member of the Central Virginia Mountain Bike Association stopped by get the ball rolling. For now, information will be disseminated via two egroups: LATC's (see subscrition info on our main page) and CVMA's (visit them at http://go.to/cvma to join their egroup). These two egroups are good for getting info on rides and races that members will be organizing and travelling to.
4) sponsorship: Bikes Unlimited is taking a super step to support local cyclists and triathletes! The shop is now sponsoring an "A" and "B" team. Contact Bikes Unlimited (link on our main page) for more info.
5) interest in local race promotion: No formal plans have been announced, but there is interest in organizing some local races. Stay tuned to your favorite L'burg multisport source for more info!!
6) races filling fast!!: Sign-up now for those races you plan on doing. This year, it appears things are filling up much faster. Azalea and AMEX are already closed,
as is Eagleman.
7) next meeting: no date announced, but will take place once the racing season is underway.

March 4th - The first club meeting of the year will be at Bikes Unlimited (2248 Lakeside Drive) on Wednesday, March 6th, at 7pm. Aspiring triathletes, new-comers to the sport, salty vets; all are welcome to attend! Come and get to know the 'burg's multisport community.

February 17th - LATC is back online!! Thanks for your patience. Much has happend and it looks like the triathletes in the 'burg are gearing up for another exciting season of multisport!! Stay tuned for meeting details.
