LATC Meeting Minutes

June 12th - Another biig thanks to Maclolm for treating us with some home-made ice cream last night. Thanks also go out to Mark for his fruit salad. Other folks in attendance: Beth Wright, Paul Triska, Chris Bright, Malcolm's wife, and the little tri'lete!

2. A group is headed out to do the B'burg Tri this weekend. We'll be going out the night before to check out the course and staying in a local motel (TBD). Interested? Email Chris at above address.
3. Morning Swim Workouts - This issue needs addressing. Lonnie will be available to come back to the Y to coach in the mornings in August when her outdoor schedule lets up. She can't coach unless there are at least 5 Masters swimmers in the pool which is why we lost her earler in May. We need to let her know if there is enough interest on our part. The group felt that 2 workouts, one at 6am and another at 7am, was "thinning out the crowd" and the minimum # of 5 was not being met - no coach on deck. It has been suggested that we start at 6:30am in August to accomodate both groups of swimmers as much as possible. Your thoughts and ideas on this matter are needed!
