Become a spin-meister over the winter!
Use this stationary training ride once a week as your recovery day.
Warm up 15 minutes building cadence to 100. Then, using a lighter
resistance, do one-legged spinning, 30 - 60 seconds each leg, alternating
legs for 10 minutes. Spin 5 minutes to recover. Then, both legs
together, do a few 1 - 3 minute sets steadily increasing to your maximum cadence
ability. Recover in between at 100. Cool down easy 90. Hint:
Pretend you are shuffling your feet back-and-forth, instead of thinking as up
and down. Your will be pleased with your smooth high cadence.
