So What?

This lesson is designed for teachers who are comfortable moving around the Web and conducting searches.

Purpose: To find sites relating to topics you plan to teach, and then develop plans for using the Internet with your classes.

If you are not sure about your ability to complete this lesson take a visit to Surf School. Or, go to the "Test the Water" or "Jump In" lessons.

It may be helpful to print a copy of this page to refer to during the lesson. The effectiveness of this lesson will depend on the success of your searches and (like all lesson plans) the time you put into planning.

1. Think about the lesson plans that you have already planned for the next week or two.

2. Consider the specific information that you plan to teach, and the resources that you plan to use.

3. Did you find enough to use for an entire class period or only a few sites that could be used to support teaching points?

4. Develop a plan to use the sites that you have found
