From Lynchburg, take U.S. 29 South. Follow 29 South Bypass around Danville. As you go past US58, start looking for the Dan Daniel Memorial Park exit. Take the light exit towards Dan Daniel Park. At the end of the off-ramp turn LEFT (turning right takes you to Dan Daniel Memorial Park). Follow past the Danville Visitor's Center and take next right. Follow signs to the public boat ramp, and look for a place to park. The trail starts at the boat dock parking area.
