The Virginia XI Chapter of the Blue Knights was formed in June, 1998 by twenty-three Law Enforcement Professional, and their families, representing the:
- Lynchburg Police Department
- Virginia State Police
- FBI
- Campbell County Sheriff's Office
- Lynchburg City Sheriff's Office
- Virginia Probation and Parole
- Amherst County Commonwealth's Attorney Office.
The Chapter received its Charter in August 1998 and currently has a membership of twenty-eight active participants.
