Music

The music ministry of our church is blessed to have many talents coming together to “make a joyful noise unto the lord” on Sunday mornings.

 

The Adult Sanctuary Choir includes those with professionally trained voices along with many members who just love to sing.  Members enjoy easy, relaxed practices and fellowship gatherings in addition to Sunday morning worship services and special performances throughout the year.  As of August 30, 2007, Choir practice will be held each Thursday evening at 7:30 pm.  Those interested in joining the choir are encouraged to talk to the choir director or any choir member for additional information.

 

We have two hand bell choirs which perform at various times throughout the year.  The Carillon Choir meets each Thursday at 6:30 pm for a hour rehearsal in the Fellowship Hall.  We have four octaves of hand bells and three octaves of tone chimes.

 

The children of the church celebrate music in their Sunday School rotation classes, coming together to delight the congregation with their songs on special occasions!  A newly formed Youth Choir also performs as special times throughout the year.
