Christian Education

Sunday Mornings - Classes for all ages are offered every Sunday morning from 9:45 am to 10:40 am in the Parker-Phelps Education Building.

A “rotation” Sunday School format is held for children and youth, kindergarten through high school.  Based on a Bible verse and story, lessons include art, music, cooking, drama and science, each highlighting the Biblical message in a special way.

Three or more small group adult classes are offered quarterly, covering contemporary as well as traditional Bible Studies from the Old and New Testaments.

Preceding our Sunday school classes each week is a fellowship coffee time beginning at 9:30 am.

Tuesday Mornings - Pastor John Siegle leads a one hour, in-depth Bible study time each week at 9:30 am.

United Methodist Women - For the past several years, the Thursday afternoon meeting of the United Methodist Women has included a Bible study in each of their monthly gatherings.  Among these have been Women of the Bible and more recently, The Ten Commandments.

Reaching Academic Potential - An after school tutoring program, “RAP” provides local area elementary-aged children with adult tutoring and guidance.  Our volunteers offer assistance with homework in an atmosphere of Christian love, patience and understanding.  The program is coordinated through Moneta Elementary School.

Vacation Bible School - VBS is held for one week each summer for four year olds through 7th graders and is open to all children in the community.  Exciting programs are offered which include story telling, lessons, music, crafts, snacks and recreation.
