Congregational Care

The healing ministries of the church are coordinated through Congregational Care, for those times of stress in which church members or friends need support or special resources.

Crisis and emergency care situations necessitating help with meals, transportation, childcare, housekeeping, yard work or other gifts of time or talent are identified and supported by a network of volunteers willing to help meet those needs.

Through neighborhood “Circles of Friends”, fellowship and support are routinely reviewed and maintained for members of the church.

Our Card Ministry makes available greetings of encouragement and prayer for those in need, signed by members on Sunday mornings.

The Prayer Ministry disseminates prayer requests to a dynamic chain of prayer warriors for those in need of healing, saving, protecting and encouraging prayers.

The Hospitality Committee, affectionately called the “Pineapple People” provides refreshments for numerous events at the church including funerals and special receptions.  Thanks to their efforts, the kitchen is kept stocked with coffee essentials and paper products.  Refreshments during the 9:30 am Sunday fellowship time are also coordinated here.
